Rank Up is a bodyweight workout app with 28-day programs and a game-style rank system. It is designed so that your information stays on your iPhone. This page explains what the app handles and why.
Your training settings (program, level, workout length, areas to protect, coach voice, reminder time) and your finished workouts (date, program day, duration, estimated calories and XP) are stored only on your device. They are not uploaded to us or to anyone else. You can delete your progress at any time from Settings > Reset progress, or by deleting the app.
If you turn on Save workouts to Apple Health, Rank Up writes each finished workout and its estimated active calories to Apple Health. Rank Up does not read any data from Apple Health. HealthKit data is never used for advertising or marketing, never shared with third parties and never stored in iCloud by the app. You can revoke access at any time in the Health app under Sharing > Apps > Rank Up.
Spoken cues are generated on your device by the system speech synthesizer. Training reminders are local notifications scheduled on your device. Nothing is sent to a server.
Rank Up Pro is sold through Apple's App Store. Payments are processed entirely by Apple; we never see or store your payment details. Purchase status is checked on your device with Apple's StoreKit.
Rank Up is for general fitness and is not medical advice. Talk to your doctor before starting a new exercise program if you have a medical condition or injury. The military theme is stylistic only; the app is not affiliated with any armed forces.
The app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone.
If this policy changes, the new version is published on this page with a new effective date.
