Privacy Policy - PDF Reader, PDF Viewer, PDF Editor

Effective date: 3 October 2026. Publisher: DevappJava.

PDF Reader is a PDF reader and editor for Amazon Fire tablets and Fire TV. This page explains what information the app handles and why.

What we collect

Nothing. The app has no account, no advertising, no analytics and no tracking. We do not collect, store on our servers, sell or share any personal information.

Your documents

PDF files you open, edit, sign, create or scan are processed only on your device. They are never uploaded to us or to anyone else.

Permissions

• Files and storage: to list the PDF files on your device and save the changes you make. Used only on your device.
• Camera: only when you use the document scanner, to photograph pages. The photos become a PDF on your device and are not sent anywhere.
• Network (Wi-Fi): only for the optional "Wi-Fi transfer" feature. While that screen is open, the app runs a small server on your local network so that a phone or computer on the same Wi-Fi can send PDF files to your device. Nothing is sent to the internet, and the server stops when you leave the screen.

Feedback e-mails

If you choose "Send feedback", your e-mail app opens with our address. We receive only what you decide to send and use it only to answer you.

Children

The app is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version is published on this page with a new effective date.
